Take a journey with storyteller Judy Sima as she shares stories of her mother, Elsa Mosbach, on Tuesday, March 20 at 5:30 p.m. at the Harrisville branch of the Alcona County Library.  Sima chronicles her mother’s life in Nazi Germany, including her encounter with the Gestapo on Kristallnacht (the Night of Broken Glass), her escape from Germany during World War II, and subsequent adjustment to her new life in America.  Following the program, Sima will share “conversation starters” to encourage participants to tell stories about their own family members.  All are welcome; refreshments provided by Friends of the Library.  For more information, call 989-724-6796.
