Harrisville Lighting Upgrade

The Harrisville Branch of Alcona County Library will be closed the week of December 4th-11th to replace the building's lighting. We are upgrading to brighter and more efficient LED fixtures to better serve the public! Any items due that week will have overdue fines cancelled.

Mikado, Lincoln, and Caledonia Township branches will remain open as usual. Thanks for your patience!

Adults are welcome to join us for the monthly “Get Crafty” session on the first Monday of the month at the Harrisville branch (second Monday during holiday weeks).  A craft or art project is offered for those who enjoy a new art experience.  We are honored to have local artists and crafters share their talents with us, and help us keep the costs down to a small materials & refreshment fee.  Must register for all events:  call 989-724-6796.

We’re always looking for new projects; call Lynn or Jan at 989-724-6796 if you have an art or craft project to share.

Monday, December 11 PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – "Potpourri of Christmas Crafts" with Jan, Lynn & friends.  Three different craft activities:  Bow making, Painted snowman glass, and flannel wreath.  All supplies & yummy refreshments included for $3 (except for Flannel Wreath -- bring 3/4 yard of flannel or purchase flannel from us).  Call to register.

Sorry, no balsam wreath making this year.
